Dear Rouge – “Modern Shakedown”

Dear Rouge made you dance at the Danforth last month, and now it’s time to give you a new one off of Phases that’s a rock ‘n’ roll gem!

Slothrust – “Double Down”

At first glance you might not know how to pronounce this band’s name – is it slo-thrust? NO! It’s SLOTHrust, a band from Boston who will bring their ’90s vibes to the Horseshoe on November 13th.

Kandle – “Nobody Wants You Now”

Montreal’s Kandle sounds ready to soundtrack the next David Lynch project. She just released a new album called Holy Smoke, and here’s her latest.

Mounties – “De-Evolve Again”

Mounties are back. The trio, made up of Hawksley Workman, Ryan Dahle, and Steve Bays, have been hinting at a new record since this spring, and hopefully this new song means we’ll finally get the new album in early 2019. The title of this track is a nod to the band Devo and to the idea of a global awakening.

Yukon Blonde – “Cry”

Two great Vancouver bands will be at the Danforth on November 22nd. I’m talking about The Zolas and these guys, Yukon Blonde! Here’s a disco tinged track off their latest release, Critical Hit!
