Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds ft. Paul Weller – “Holy Mountain”

If an Oasis reunion won’t happen, at least both Gallagher brothers are giving you their own offerings. Noel Gallagher’s new solo record Who Built The Moon is out Novemebr 24th and heads up you can see Liam Gallagher play the Sony Centre February 20th.

Dizzy – “Stars and Moons”

Here are some new sounds from the ‘shwa. Three brothers and a friend joined forces after growing up in modern suburbia, and singer Katie Munshaw says it helped create the songs. Oshawa introduced her “to friendship and heartache and change” while keeping her “bored enough to sit at home and write about it.”

Hamilton Liethauser featuring Angel Olsen – “Heartstruck” (Wild Hunger)

You might know Hamilton Liethauser as the singer of The Walkmen, but he’s on his own and putting out stellar tracks and is equally great live. This should get you excited for his show Oct 30 at the Danforth Music Hall!


Little Junior – “Accolades”

Royal Mountain have an excellent track record for signing bands worth their buzz, including PUP and Alvvays. Here’s another to out on your radar: Little Junior. In one week they’ve opened for party king Andrew W.K. and got some hometown love playing the Horseshoe Tavern with Hollerado! Time to get them on your local love playlist.

Black Pistol Fire – “Lost Cause”

You’re about to hear a Canadian export. This duo decided to leave Canada for sunny Austin Texas, but at least they had a party of a homecoming last weekend at Lee’s Palace. Here’s the latest from Black Pistol Fire ”Lost Cause.”
