Weezer – “Can’t Knock The Hustle”

Weezer has announced a new album is on the way. It’ll be the Black Album, and though I was hoping it’d be a Jay-Z cover record, it won’t. There’s no release date just yet, but we do know that Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio produced this one for the record!

Brave Shores – “Middle Game”

Local duo Brave Shores have really outdone themselves with this new upbeat electro track. The music video not only features people playing an animated game that accompanies the song, but there’s also a website where you can play the game, too!

Dermot Kennedy – “Power Over Me”

Irish singer/songwriter Dermot Kennedy says this one is about “the idea of being totally bewitched by somebody, to be totally under their spell, in a really good way. Just totally enamoured.”

Allan Rayman – “Rose”

Let’s get local! Allan Rayman has an upcoming release out November 16th, which will feature a lot of retro sounds from the 80s and 90s. It will be called “Harry Hard-on.” Nope, not making that up.

Sigrid – “Sucker Punch”

If you’ve needed more Scandinavian pop in your life (other than that awesome new Robyn album) here you go! Sigrid has been delivering catchy tracks and great hooks all year. Case in point: this new one called “Sucker Punch.”
