The Right Sound for the Right Price

UK band Until the Ribbon Breaks will be playing the Drake in toronto this week! Their most recent album is called A Lesson Unlearnt, but you might recognize this song from baseball video game MLB ’15. But you won’t be thinking about baseball when you hear this one…if you know what I mean.

It’s been three years, but you’re finally getting a new album from Montreal’s Half Moon Run on October 23 called Sun Leads Me On. We’re still waiting for that Toronto tour date since they’re off in Europe, but hey! You’ve got THIS!

It may be September, but festival season’s not over yet. Turf, or Toronto Urban Roots Festival takes over Fort York from September 18th-20th, and this is one of the bands you won’t wanna miss. Deerhunter, out of Atlanta, Georgia releases their new album Fading Frontier in October. TURF’s gonna feel great when this happens.

Toronto-based folk troupe The Strumbellas hit it big with their song “Sailing” back in 2013, and they even scored a Juno for folk group of the year that same year. Now they’re back with a brand new tune!

Longtime indie darlings Beirut are releasing their fourth full-length album, NO NO NO this week, so you can get yourself prepared for their two shows at The Danforth Music Hall in November! This one’s a sweet piano and conga drum number.
