There’s a reason O.Noir makes it to the top of every must-experience restaurant in Toronto. At O.Noir, you’ll be guided to your table by blind servers, in a restaurant that is set in complete darkness. Some say impairing your sense of sight improves your sense of taste, amplifying your dining experience.
La Palette
It’s not La Palette’s unique decor that makes this restaurant so different. This French bistro on Queen West boasts unusual fare like escargot, bone marrow — and for the true culinary explorer, horse tenderloin.
Mysteriously Yours
For the dramatic types, the long-lost art of dinner theatre is alive an well in Toronto. Mysteriously Yours is an interactive murder mystery theatre located at Yonge and Davisville, and a fabulous spot for the hungry thrill-seekers.

This truly unique restaurant is tucked away on Richmond Street, hidden from everyone but to those who know about it. With marvelous service and a dramatic rooftop patio, this boutique restaurant packs a punch. However, to get to it you need to go through a back alley and up a freight elevator, so be on the lookout.
Kinka Izakaya
Entering this Japanese tapas-style restaurant might be the closest thing to experiencing a full-on Cheers moment upon walking through the door, as you’ll be greeted by energetic salutations upon arriving and leaving this excellent Bloor Street spot (there are three locations in Toronto). It’s recommended you bring a group here because you’ll want to try out as much as you can, plus a bottle sake is more enjoyable when shared between friends.
Rodeo Brazilian Steakhouse Rodizio
Rodizio literally translates to all-you-can-eat, and that’s exactly what’s on the menu at this Danforth Brazilian steakhouse. A mix between dinner and live entertainment, serves come armed with sword and spit at your table, slicing up Brazlian-style steaks as you watch.
Medieval times
Despite it’s popularity, Medieval Times remains one of our favourite, unique dining experiences in the city. You’ll be treated like a King/Queen to a four course meal (without cutlery) while brave Knights joust in your honour in this medieval-like stadium.
