Brittany Howard has announced a star-studded remix album of her 2019 solo record Jaime, which is set for release on July 23rd via ATO.
The forthcoming collection is set to feature contributions from Childish Gambino, Michael Kiwanuka, and a collaboration between 9th Wonder and Comomon. So far, Howard has already released EARTHGANG’s version of Goat Head” and Bon Iver’s remix of “Short And Sweet,” and today, Howard has shared Little Dragon’s cinematic version of “Presence” and BADBADNOTGOOD’s dreamy, swayable remix of “Tomorrow.”
“Making Jaime was so much fun for me because I was able to explore so many different genres of music,” Howard explains. “There were no rules. This reimagination project has been no different. I have been honored to have so many incredible artists from all musical worlds interpret my songs in such interesting and different ways.”
