After forming in 2011 and recording tracks in bassist Alex Stiff’s living room, The Record Company released their debut album Give It Back to You in 2016. The record was a major breakthrough for the band, earning them a Grammy nod and launching them from the bars and clubs in which they paid their dues and onto stages shared with with an impressive roster of artists including John Mayer, B.B. King, Nathaniel Rateliff, and My Morning Jacket.
“We want to be known as the best live band on Earth,” says drummer Marc Cazorla in a press release, “and the only way to do that is to believe it. We were an opening band for five years, and we made it our goal every night when we took the stage to be remembered.”
The trio released their second album All of This Life this past summer. During their tour they visited us to perform their new single “Life To Fix”, as well as “Off The Ground” from their debut.
