In April of this year, power-pop veterans Jimmy Eat World suddenly shot into the digital music charts after Apple Music debuted an ad featuring Taylor Swift lip syncing to the band’s 2001 classic, “The Middle”. Just a few months later, the band made a surprise announcement that they were getting set to release their 9th studio album. No word yet on whether we should thank Taylor for this. Look for Integrity Blues to be released October 21, 2016, through Dine Alone Records.
The band visited the Collective Arts Black Box to play two songs from the upcoming record, plus the aforementioned classic, Taylor Swift approved, “The Middle”.
